ABOUT THE CHOIR

Our varied repertoire is based around the principal classical choral works, ranging from Mozart, Haydn, Fauré, Brahms and Vaughan Williams, to occasionally pieces written by our own talented conductor, Rory Freckleton. You can find out more about Rory here.

Mozart, Vaughan Williams, Brahms....and Freckleton?

We have currently about 35 members and we would love to grow. As a community choir, we won't ask you to audition, just come and try us. You will be very warmly welcomed as a soprano or alto or in our bass and tenor sections.

Rory keeps us on our toes in the friendliest way at our rehearsals every Monday from 7.30 to 9.30 at Wesley Methodist Church, Brierley Hill, so join us from September. It can only do you good! The church has its own car park. You can find out more about joining here.

The Choir was founded in a thriving Brierley Hill in 1933, and gave its first concert in 1934. 90 years and a new millennium later, we are still going strong! As well as singing, we also enjoy getting together for a number of social events during our season; find out more here.

Or why not come along to one of our concerts? Always well attended and well received, they are usually followed by a drink and a bite to eat. Our next concert this season will be on Saturday December 7th at St Michael's Brierley Hill. The concert will include works by Benjamin Britten, John Rutter and Robin Wells, together with popular carols. You can find out more about our concerts here.

Why not come and join us?
